Services
I can help college students or adult learners with their academic/essay writing. I can help with citations, persuasive writing, writing in third person, APA format, research, and formulating a thesis statement. I can help with organization, structure, style, format, and implementing an outline and other writing prompts, such as annotated bibliographies or literature reviews. I also focus on helping students develop critical thinking skills or analytical skills.
In addition, I help K-12 students with reading and I make sure the students fluency is at an accurate, expressive, and lengthy rate. I get my curriculum for K-12 students from Teachers Pay Teachers website. I also offer additional services, such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, and handwriting.
About Me
Hi! My name is Nicole Pinkerton—a dedicated academic writing tutor with a passion for helping students grow into confident, capable writers. I specialize in one-on-one support for college or adult learners who want to improve their writing skills, strengthen their essays, and feel more prepared for academic success.
I work as a Substitute Teacher at a local school district near Phoenix. I went to college at NAU and obtained a Bachelor's in Justice Studies. I have a Master's in Organizational Leadership. I have an Associate's in Paralegal Studies. I also worked on a Special Education program with Teachers of Tomorrow. I currently have a valid Fingerprint Clearance card.
With over two years' experience of substitute teaching, I’ve supported students across different subjects and learning styles. My focus is on writing—from thesis development to persuasive essays—and I tailor each session to help learners find their voice and improve confidence.

I offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your business and academic needs. I can help college graduates or anyone looking for a job build a new resume or cover letter. I can help with legal writing, such as using the format IRAC. I can help students achieve their writing or reading skills through an online format. I differentiate and implement curriculum and lesson planning tailored to a students academic needs. I also offer in person sessions at a local library or at your home for your convenience.
